Determining the Cost of a Craft Show Plus a Free Checklist

Determining the Cost of a Craft Show Plus a Free Checklist

Have you decided that it's time to start selling at craft shows? Now that you've gotten a good feel for your products and feel like you are creating products that people love, the next step is to start showing those products off! Fall craft shows are a great time to branch out into the craft show world, put some extra money in your pocket, and gain new customers. The problem is, where to start?

Craft shows can be a bit confusing when it comes to cost. They're not always straightforward about the total cost of selling. Some shows include everything you'll need at the base price while some shows require that you pay for everything, even chairs, separately. When selecting a show, it's very important to make sure you know exactly what that show will cost you.

Not only do you want to account for all the small stuff like electricity and wifi, but you want to factor in your travel expenses. If you need to fly to a show or stay in a hotel, you want to make sure you include those expenses in the cost of the show. After all, this is an expense you wouldn't have without the show.

To make things easier for you, we have a FREE Craft Show Cost Worksheet. Download the checklist here and complete it for each show you are looking at exhibiting at. It will make it easier to figure out what the cost of the show was and how much you need to sell in order to make your money back.

While you're at it, download our full free How to Sell at Fall Craft Show e-book by entering your email below. The full e-book also comes with check lists, worksheets, and cut files that you can sell at your craft shows.
